Clarity about tech considerations

Clarity about system requirements

It's important for faculty to communicate clearly with students about technology considerations and system requirements, and for this information to be easily available in the Canvas course site. Because some platforms require set-up or log in, a student can't necessarily wait until the last minute and expect to be on time for a live Adobe Connect Session, to easily understand the way something is built in Canvas, or to be ready-to-go with a remote proctoring service.

Technological considerations and system requirements - such as the necessity of a headset - should be included in the course syllabus, and featured on course home pages in Canvas.

Basic system requirements are addressed in the Technological Readiness.pdf
