With a goal of better supporting a Penn community that leads with care and compassion, the Presidential Commission on Countering Hate and Building Community addresses the interconnectedness of antisemitism, Islamophobia, and other forms of hate, discrimination, and bias on campus. University Task Force on Antisemitism

Penn is committed to a whole-University approach, anchored in the U.S. National Strategy to Counter Antisemitism, to combat antisemitism now and in the future and to ensure that our campus culture will not tolerate antisemitism. On May 30, 2024, in a message to the Penn community, J. Larry Jameson, Interim President, shared the Final Report from the University Task Force on Antisemitism. The Task Force offers actionable recommendations that harness the collective strengths and core missions of Penn, while also countering antisemitism.
