Academic Support

You can strengthen your study skills and strategies for coursework through individual consultations, group workshops, and asynchronous resources.

Learning Consultations and Group Workshops

We offer in-person and virtual learning consultations to discuss your approaches to coursework and strategies for managing projects, preparing for exams, and engaging in scholarship. Each semester, our signature workshops address a range of learning strategies, and we are open to facilitating workshops by request.

Disability Services

The Weingarten Center provides services for students who self-identify with a disability in order to ensure equal access to all University programs, activities, and services. The process begins when a student submits an accessibility request, provides documentation of their condition, and meets with a Disability Specialist. The Disability Services staff collaborates with academic programs to coordinate students' academic accommodations as well as accessible housing, and dining accommodations. Through ongoing collaboration with the Weingarten Center, students learn to identify and utilize individualized accommodations and strategies that support their full participation in university-related activities.
